School of Biomedicine

You will be required to recruit patients from the Outpatient Clinics of Manchester Royal Eye Hospital subsequently capturing/processing retinal images from these patients. The ability to use and develop software for the analysis of ophthalmic images is essential.
You will assist in the production of grant applications and research papers arising from the work.
A good honours degree or equivalent in optometry is required or a medical qualification with specialist knowledge in ophthalmology together with sound knowledge of ophthalmic disease.
