LiDAR Systems Engineer
£18,000-£30,000 plus benefits.
My client a successful world leading specialist in 3D application measurement technologies are currently recruiting for a LIDAR Systems Engineer for Mining and Monitoring.
The successful candidate will be focussed on delivery solutions for the mining and 3D modelling/mapping communities.
The role for a LiDAR Systems Engineer to join a friendly and dynamic team, offering the chance to make a significant contribution to the technical support and development the company\'s highly acclaimed mining solution amongst other products.
To provide training, customer support and pre sales support for a range of LiDAR software and hardware products. The role requires some knowledge of LiDAR or laser scanning and experience in 3D data processing. Experience of training/lecturing will also be a benefit.
The successful candidate will be self motivated and a pro-active individual with excellent communication skills, good knowledge of LiDAR processing software and with the ability to interface with a variety of customers and partners.
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday however occasional out of office hours on call work will be required to travel both in the UK and overseas, reporting to the Technical Support Manager.
